Yes just be honest and tell the truth with simple words, he will learn in another place and if you say something that is not honest you will be a liar in his eyes, therefore no trust for your opinions anymore!

I would tell him that he comes from mommy's belly and is made out of love. That he is a part of you and of his father. If he asks any more questions and if you feel that he is not old enough to know more then try to distract him.

Hi, I have a daughter of the same age and i know we literally have to scratch our head on how to answer them in a convincing way. I told her that she was a gift from god . we prayed so hard that we were blessed with an angel like her. till the time mommy and daddy were not ready to get the gift she was sleeping inside a lotus flower. do some variation to this and tell your son. think hard.

I would say that a baby come from a woman and man when they really love each other and they will make a baby. Of course you could go with if he is really super smart he prob will know it mommy and daddy get together with lots of love and make a baby. Of course it clear to be honest about wheres babies come from esp if you are soon be expecting.... so he probably will learn about it from a book soon as he get that book.
