Hi Sultan its not the land of poverty but land with opportunities but its up to people what to take and what not to.Beauty contest is a business and no one can say other to stop their business.When you compare it looks like its useless but think from the perspective of a person who owns it.He is there doing his business and also beauty contest is providing employment to few people.When we are adopting western culture in our daily life i see no harm with beauty contest.Let me know your opinion first so that we can discuss more on this. Yes it's necessary...Why? because our country wants to represent itself as a very rich and cultural country in front of the world. The heads of our country never bother to think about poverty or such this useless jobs..
