Where is hte best place to buy boys clothes, best prices and selection. I am not picky about brand names, my son is 5 and grows out of things way to fast to be buying 25.00 pair of jeans...lol.
I go to walmart, kmart, target, but their selection is very minimal. Just yesterday i was at walmart, and they had 4 round racks, and 3 tables with boy clothes in his size. Then i go to the girls section, there was at last 10 round onse and about 6 talbes....ummm hello, do boys not need clothes as much as girls. Heck boys dirty them up far more than girls and wear them out faster, so wouldnt you think there would be more selection.
The only other place i have bought his clothes that has a decent selection is Kohls.
So where do you shop for boys clothes?

I have found that you I can buy "lots" of clothes on e-bay for CHEAP! You will be amazed at the stuff you can find. I just type in "size 8 boys clothes" and up everything pops. Good luck!

Check and see if there's a Steve and Barry's anywhere close to you. This is a fairly new chain that tries to look like Old Navy but they have great sales and nothing in the store is over $19.98. They also run long-term sales where they put everything in the store on sale for $8.98 or less. They ran that promotion back around the holidays last year and finally ended it in the middle of June.
Another thing you might want to try is joining your local freecycle group. I get tons of clothes for my son this way and it's always free. Selling is NOT allowed. There are over 3000 freecycle communities so you're bound to find one close. Check out their site: www.freecycle.org

I totally forgot about Steve and Barrys there is one in our mall right down the road, but its in an area of the mall i dont usually go to so i forgot all about it..thanks for reminding me. I also use to belong to freecycle, but every time i would get something from there, it woulndt be nothing like the person would say..and yes i know its free..but for example, we dont smoke at all, and they would say the house was a non smoking, and i would pick up the stuff and get it in my car and yuck..but felt bad saying here i dont want these. I know i could take them home and wash them, but its beside the point, and it happened a few tiems so i got discouraged adn stopped. I could try again, its been awhile so maybe ppl have gotten better about it.

Well, for people who are on a budget, I suggest going to Ross, Target, and Wal*Mart because, let's face it, who really has a lot of money to spend on clothes? Kohls and Mervins are pretty nice places to shop at, but you are still spending more money than you should for clothes.

What about second hand shops or salvation army? We used to go to this great second hand shop out by a friends house. They had a nice selection of stuff that was looked like it was barely worn. You also could try family Dollar stores or some Dollar Generals. They sell clothes there and they have some pretty cute stuff. Our walmart is the same way. Their selection stinks. Our kids section is really small. They only have like one or two tables or racks for each size.

Your right about there being only a few racks of boys clothing compared to girls ones. I have trouble finding stuff as well and I only go for sales or bargains. Target is where I shop at most of the time (sports clothing because my son outgrows his quickly too and he's only just turned 6). I go for the one day sales at Macys too and often look at H&M childrens section. I go to a few of the mall shops and check out the items on sale too, can find some good bargains at times.

Clothes for boys do seem to be limited I guess cause they either wear pants or shorts, where girls can wear so many other styles. Boys wear shirts, girls wear tank tops and blouses, and halters, we have a store called Marshalls here they seem to have a wide assortment of clothes for all ages. More than I have seen in many stores. We also have Kohl's which is a expensive store but they have racks of mark down clothes my daughter gets most of her girls clothes there on the mark down racks, it is good clothes but paying a fair price for them, by fair I mean $4 or $5. for a top or jeans. So you may want to check them out if you have one there. Also there is a lot of mark downs at stores like Macy's here. I perfer shopping at stores like these as you get better quality clothes than at Wal Mart of K Mart.

I like to shop at Jc Pennies and Macy's for my sons clothes. They are much older but I can always find some great deals there. Luckily for school they have a uniform to wear so I only get them a few casual things to wear outside of school and things to wear to church.

I don't know what area your in but look for a Gordman's in your area. They have alot of kids clothes, and about this time they are usually having a good sale, you can get brand name clothes pretty cheap. I have 6 nephews and I like to do my Christmas shopping there, I never have trouble finding boys clothes.

I am not usue what you have in your area! But we have some local Thrift stores, Goodwill, and Salvation army! You can get away with just spending pennies on the dollar and you can get a whole bag filled with pants for the same 25.00 you spend on one pair at a local retail store.
You really do get your money's worth. Lots of the items still have store tags on them..... They have Never been worn. People just donate them. You will see what I mean if you can check it out!

If your lookin for a cheap and with good quality products for boys then better go to the shoppin stores that is local and not that high class stuff...Well sometimes the expensive products got good quality but it depends on how you use it...Well I'm not that sensitive in shoppin though as long that the product got good quality,I will buy it...:-0 Try giordano or levis or Lee..They are some of the best brands for the guys...:-0 God bless and have a nice day

Well I am very choosy about the clothes that i buy.I make it sure I am going to wear it for a good reason not just once or twice. So i buy branded products.Wellthey are costly but I like to wear those tags.I go to outlets like Levis,Pepe,Killer, Pantaloons,Shopper stop, etc.

I buy the girls clothes at Old Navy. One good thing about having 2 girls is they can share clothes. My 4 year old is very tall & slender while my 3 year old is very tiny and petite. My 3 year old is just now starting to wear 2T. So i mainly buy for my 4 year old. Old Navy has a great sale going on now with their clearance at least the one buy me does.

I go with Old Navy. They got the best clothes there, but the prices are too big as this store is one of the popular ones. Walmart is good at clothes also, i buy a a lot of my clothes there..i think walmart, u should go with. i usually find good clothes for myself.
