What operating system do you use, and why?

Do you use Windows, Linux, OSX? Why? I use Windows and Ubuntu Linux. I like programming in Ubuntu (especially nice to have the terminal for my school work). Windows I have around mainly for iTunes and some other programs. I would like to get a macbook pro, but don't quite have the money for it now. With OSX I could have my terminal window, iTunes, and pretty much anything I need without having to deal with multiple OSes.

Windows Vista here .... just trying it out. seems pretty good so far.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm disappointed with the 10GB or so it takes to install, but it looks cool. I'm still weary of it's security, but hopefully that will be fixed one day.

That my combination too. I use Windows Xp for the things I can't use my Ubuntu for. But I usually spend more time at Ubuntu than in Windows. Ubuntu rocks man!

Windows XP just because it was already on my computer.
