There has been a lot of incidents in the run up to the Olympics with lots of objections, reactions, disruptions etc etc. Will there be any actual violence during the games? I'm sure that security measures are in place but I also know that people who want to create a disruption will find a way to get past these measures. I am hoping for a peaceful time with lots of competition and world records and hope that there will be no violence.

God Forbid! But you know terrorists are usually turned on by destructions and disruptions-they will try everything to spoil the olympic spirits-am told already some policemen have been killed a day or so to the opening ceremonies-all the chinese authorities can do is is be extra vigilant

I am here right now in china. Here the security is so tight that, no one can move single inch with out knowing to the SWAT security. The way that they prepared for the Olympics shows that, no violence may happen. Do you know in Beijing, the private vehicles can come out only thrice a week, this is for pollution control and to avoid unnecessary crowd. The whole Beijing has a firewall, that filters the evil that will happen in future days. I have ticket for 13th aug Football match at SHENYANG. Hope to enjoy a lot there.
