Do you like any particular flavor or brand? I love Chai with oranges in them. Do you drink it cold or hot? I add milk and drink it both ways. In winter, I like it hot. In warm months I like it over ice. What about you?

I've not tried any tea with lime. Sounds interesting. What is cardamom? I'm not familiar with that name.

Now I am remembering. I have seen it before. I just didn't notice it. I will have to check it out. Many new things have been really yummy that others have referred me to; so I like trying them.

That is very true. I love it so much. I actually had it by accident the first time I tried it. I was meeting a new date at a coffee shop and ordered what I thought was a latte. I started to take it back and say, this is the wrong thing that I ordered. Then I was like: yum! Now my latte has been replaced with Chai.

My husband like only one flavor and that's regular tea with just enough sugar in it to take the bitterness out. We usually buy the store brand that's decaffinated so we can drink it at all hours of the day and night without getting the gitters. I can't stand the gitters and am antsy enough as it is so the decaf is right nice to have especially at night.

Have you ever tried Tetly tea? It is really good regular tea na dis not bitter at all. I love it for regular iced teas. I have had to really look here to find it; but I did finally. It costs less actually than regular generic teas.

You are welcome. It takes really fresh to me. Add flavours as well to spice it up from time to time. The results are yummy. I found it here in the USA at Walmart and a few other places.

Really? Costs less? I'm going to have to check that out!! We used to drink Tetly when we were stationed in Texas so I'll have to look into that again. Thanks for passing that on!

I too like chai tea. i tend to drink it when the weather is cool. I'm not sure if I have ever had iced chai tea. I think I've seen it before though. I like to drink chai tea in the evening most of the time so I have to make sure it is the decaf version. Starbucks makes a really delcious chai tea drink.

I have not tried Starbucks version. They tend to be very pricey; but if I get a chance, I will check it out.

MH I prefer plain black tea but also like the peach flavored and mango. I've never had Chai. I like hot tea too. I love it with milk but I recently read that milk does something to the antioxidant effect. Why I don't remember. My favorite is iced tea. leenie

Try the Chai; it's really good and is rather like having a sweet with something that is not. Yummy stuff. I believe it is good for you as well?

Just thought I'd offer you all a good r3ecipe for it: 1-1/2 cups water 1 inch stick of cinnamon 8 cardomom pods 8 whole cloves 2/3 cup milk (honey to taste) 3 teaspoons any non-perfumed loose black tea Put 1-1/2 cups water in saucepan. Add the cinnamon, cardomom, and cloves and bring to a boil. Cover, turn heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the milk and sugar and bring to a simmer again. Throw in the tea leaves, cover, and turn ff the heat. After 2 minutes, strain the tea into two cups and serve immediately. Enjoy!

I've always loved drinking tea. I'm actually into milk tea right now. It seemed weird to me at first but after the first cup, I sat around thinking... hmmm... why not have another cup. I usually like my tea cold (with a squeeze of lemon) but there are times that I crave for hot tea. (I like my milk tea hot.)

If I am drinking my tea hot I like that with some cinnamon and honey. That is really good if I have a cold as well. I seldom like lemon in my hot tea; though it is good in cold tea.

My favorite tea is the Lipton green tea that comes in the bottle. I love that stuff. I don't make my own tea, I'm too lazy to do so, lol.

I love hot green tea. But I can't seem to drink tea every day, it's too cooling. And it makes me pee - diuretic effect. I drink tea with milk only if I'm eating at the coffeeshop.

Yes, that would make sense to me. Green tea is rather a medicine of sorts. So, you must be careful about how much of it you drink. It is good for you though. I like it with a little mint added to it served cold.
