Hi ak, welcome to mylot! I prefer Ugly Betty. It's a great show. The story line is good, the acting is excellent. I love America Fererra, who plays Ugly Betty. She's incredible. She's really a beautiful woman. You'd never believe how pretty she is without all that "ugly" makeup. She plays the role so well. The whole cast is great. Vanessa Williams makes the perfect beotch! I've been watching since it started, I've been a fan since the beginning. Next season they are finally changing Betty's character a bit so it should be really interesting. I can't tell you anything about Desperate Housewives-never watched it-never will. Seen enough of those type of shows and don't need to see anymore.

i prefer desperate house wives because ugly betty is confusing for me if i watch after a long time but desperate house wives you can understand and i personally like it more than ugly betty
