How much do you write every day?

I am writing a novel at the moment and have been trying to make myself do more writing and for the next couple of weeks I am trying to write about 1,000 words a day. At the weekends I can do this easily but during the week, I work during the day so I only really have time in the evenings. I only managed 600 words today, but that was partly because my laptop battery was running out and I had forgotten my charger and couldn't plug it in again until I got home. I was still pleased with the 600 words though. It all counts. How much do you write every day? Do you have goals you set yourself and do you achieve them?

I don't have a daily word count goal, but I would easily say most days I write at least 1,500 words. I write for about 4 websites. Every post I write for one has be be 250 words too count. I also have a daily blog that needs to be exactly 100 words; I do one entry there per day. Plus I put in a couple of hundreds words here a day, usually. I also update a few online journals and other blogs. On good days, I will compose some fiction or poetry, as well. That's been too infrequent lately, though. I think the muse is mad at me.

Monday through Friday I write a lot. I publish at least 10,000 words online and probably more like 25,000 to 50,000 most weeks. It isn't easy, but it is my job. Saturday and Sunday I don't normally work. On the other hand, I have a hard time setting goals and working through them. This is something I need to get better at and am hoping to do that in the next year as I work into making a living online.
