I feel like I have arrived.

I don't know, but today I reached 1000 posts, and I now feel like I have finally arrived. I know that may sound silly. But looking around at the number of users here over 1000 posts and even more, I feel like I am finally no longer a newbie.
Was there some point when you felt like you were finally a part of something due to a milestone?

You are no longer a newbie. With 1000 posts you are a seasoned mylotter and can now go out onto the site and give as good as you get. You have friends who love you and will be there for you and you have experience here so there is no longer any need to post silly discussions like this! ROFL
Actually, I know how you feel. I was soooo relieved when I hit 1000 and could relax and just have fun instead of working to build a readership and friends list.
So kudos to you kid, and now let's start seeing some of that considerable intelligence of yours!

I hear you. Just yesterday I was told I was a 'blowtorchofinsanity' and they weren't being funny! LOL Made me laugh out loud that did. So throw some of your intelligence my way, and I'll see if I have enough brains left to catch it! LOL

I have been trying to throw around some of that "considerable intelligence", but its just not getting noticed

I'm here for 3 days after inactive for more than one year. It's amazing for those that can have so many posts in record for such a short time. I find it difficult for me to even reach 100 posts. I can only make the most 5 posts daily.
Yes, if I have reached the milestone of 500, I will be proud of me and will keep assisting newbie in MyLot. Hope that I can reach it. Congratulation, edgyk8inmomma.

I'm not usually on here as much as I was today. I started the day off at 948. But I have pain issues that kept me down, and inbetween things here and there I'd pop on for a minute or two.
I'm one of the addicts here, so once I'm hooked for the day, I can't pull myself away.

Congratulations on your 1000 posts!
I remember when I first joined myLot, I'd see all the 1000, 1300, 2300 posts and think they must have been here for a very very long time. I haven't been here that long and I'm quickly closing in on 1000. It does feel good to see that number rising steadily!

Yeah, I did too. But then I saw people posting their hello's, and I'm new here's then with in weeks they were reaching 1000. Its crazy how much time some people have!!!
I've been here a little more than 4 months...so doesn't look to bad for me:)

I must say you have done a fine job and reaching your goal that is great. I know for the longest time I felt left in the dust when I first started here for everyone was so far ahead of me and I had just tiny amounts and I wanted more.
It was my great friends here at mylot that kept inspiring me to keep at it and soon enough I would feel like I was up there with the rest of them. I am slowly getting there but I feel I have made such great improvement since I started here almost 3 1/2 months ago now. Keep up the good work and take care. :)

Wow, I didn't realize we joined so close to the same time! My friends here are the best, as you can see from above:) I love the conections I've made, and that matters way more than the numbers. I also notice, the higher my numbers go...so do the others, and there are tons of people who came here after me and have done way more...but their names are not known, and they still struggle to be heard. I would rather take my time to work my way into this world, and make a good name for myself, than think only about the numbers and get to the "top" without ever making any real conections....ya know?? This place is great!!

I agree with what you are saying.
I almost have 200 actions and I feel like I am still very new to this.
Do you get to do anything for getting 1000 posts like you do for 100 or 500.
I hope I will one day reach the point you are at.
