Is anyone here on Mylot really wealthy and simply come here for chatting?

Interesting deduction but I wonder as to the reality of this..MYLOT could not afford to lose their members..Many and I say many are here originally due to the fact they were told about an incentive..

I really think they will eventually either scale back their incentives (to only reward specific behaviors and not every post) or cut them out eventually. I think their marketing model is to build the community now by getting people hooked and developing online friendships so they'll keep coming back, with or without money. That's just my guess.

So are you saying if mylot took out the incentive you would continue posting..? I am curious what people would do if the incentive was no longer there? You are saying that you need no incentive to stay on mylot..?

If there was no earning i think most people would quit. I mean i could see if this forum had serious discussions which sometimes it does. For the most part the topics are what is your favorite this or that. Nobody would care about those topics if there was no money involved. If this site got established more as a paying site with real discussions i would say yes people would stay even if there was no money. The more quality discussions the more loyal members.

I really like your honesty and even those of us who love to chat and meet friends have to admit we saw some posting that said get paid for posting on mylot.. I am have given you the best answer since you are very sincere and are not afraid to say "hey, I like the money too" Thanks for your honesty;)+

Dont say that..we like you here..I remember a christmas song about a poor drummer boy..and though it is fictional ..the story still has a moral..that is even in your poverty you have something to give..You can give yourself and your knowledge ..whatever it may be in ..to all of us here;)+

I agree..MYLOT cannot really be considered a full time job..but it's nice for chatting and the extra pocket change;)+

I agree that is what attracted me too.. I think that they offer incentives is nice..It would be interesting to see if they continue to do this 6 months from now..or if things will change;)+
