Sorry dear, I think my question was taken in the wrong content, for which I'm sorry for. I meant that when I said I wish women would stand up for themselves, I meant that I didn't like women being trod on, I felt that they should all say enough is enough and get out of their relationship if they were badly treated or used. I hope you'll forgive me for making an unclear question. " D "

I'm sorry dear, I think I put my question wrongly. What I meant to imply was that I didn't think any women should put up with being used or abused in a relationship. They should have respect and if they don't get that respect then they should say enough is enough and make a life elsewhere for themselves. Sorry for the mis-understanding. " D "

I have the guts to stand up for myself. I'm not a doormat for anyone. I think you must have something against women. There are plenty of men and women who can't or don't stand up for themselves. Believe me, it's not just limited to women.

Sorry dear, perhaps I didn't make my question clear, I meant that I wish women ( all ) women would stand up for themselves instead of allowing themselves to be trod on my men. I love all women, and I wish all of them well, please forgive me for my question been put wrong, " D "

Sorry givemechance, I think my question was mis-understood, I meant that I think all women should stand up for themselves and say, if their used or abused, that they should say enough is enough and get out of the relationship there is no respect. Sorry if I offended, it was not my intention. " D "

I've always stood up for not only myself but other women as well. Not only that, I raised two children on my own.I've never needed a man to stand up for or take care of me and probably never will.If you posted this just to get alot of responses, then I'm sure you will. All negative.

what a stupid question! It's got to with the individual person, nothing to do with whether they are male or female. I know planty of males who won't stick up for themselves

Um, who says that? I am a woman and I have no problem in expressing my views or letting others know when they have made me angry. Now if it is a sticky situation, then I tend to keep my mouth shut so that nothing bad comes of it.

You continue to stand up for yourself, and yes I agree with you in keeping my mouth shut when something that doesn't concern me kicks off

i have the guts to stand up for myself, I will not let a person put me down for their own benefit. At the same time though i can take critisism (spelling) if it is constructive. I cant stand people that like to try and put me down but when i stand up for myself i am then referred to as a B*tch. I wish men whould make up their minds, do you want women to stand up for themselves? or do you prefer that we are not "B*tches"
