Hey I read lot that our fore fathers were monkeys/apes...but
is that true ?
Alas I would have qualities of monkey in that case ...I could have jumped to all my friends house easily in short time ???I would have enjoyed eating fresh fruits on tall tress....I need spend money getting fruits also ?I would have 6 pack abs then...
Do u believe we were monkeys before many decades ??
Is there any way to reverse now ....
Thanku
Ganesh

I enjoy reading Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series of books, and the Unseen University's Librarian featured in some of them is an OrangUtan who has a lot to add to any conversation He features in by variously intoned "Ook"'s!

ok i know that human evolution isnt like that little picture that goes from monkey to man. man did not evolve from apes, they both evolved from one common ancestor, so we both come from the same place but we're different things because of our needs and our environments. we just dont know what the ancestor was. we thought we had found it when we found lucy but that wasnt right. so the search for man and apes' ancestor is still on. hopefully we'll find it some day.

ok here it goes the best example i can give as to how these two came to be. its like a man decides to start up a company selling lets say tools, he decides to expand his business and wherever he moves he sees theres more of a need for farming things so he sells farming things and tools, he expands again and the next place he sees that they dont need the farming things, they need something else, so he decides to sell the tools and whatever they need. so this keeps going on until somewhere along the line his companies no longer sell tools, they sell something completely different because of the needs of where the stores open at. the store has evolved into something else, lets say its a car company and this car company manufactures trucks and cars. and they keep making cars that are better and faster and trucks that are bigger and stronger for years. lets say all this is written down but somewhere along the line we lose the name of the company who made the trucks and cars and we cant find it. its kinda like that i guess. i tried my best! the truck and the car come from the same place but arent the same things exactly.
our monkey tail was like that. it was one of the things that the store sold at one time but wasnt needed in an area so they stopped selling it. as humans we no longer needed it so we didnt have it anymore, although it took a really really long time to get rid of it.
yes research is still going on and everyday we are finding more. we havent found that mysterious company that started both us and the monkeys according to need. and even now we are still evolving. they believe that apes are actually more evolved than humans. now this doesnt mean that they are smarter or anything it just means that they are further away from the common ancestor than we are.

Yes i believe we are descendents from an apelike creature an evolved but it was all part of Gods plan. We were still created.

My friend, my forefathers are not monkeys and neither are yours. Men did not evolve from monkeys at all and if ever there are those who claim men did come from monkey then I leave them with that belief if they really like to have monkey's blood. H!ha!ha!
But I firmly believe what the Bible says: God created men. We started as men and not monkeys. Monkeys are animals while men are human. It is not at all possible that animals could be men later on. That is absurd and very ridiculous.
My friend I hope you will read the succeeding verses lifted from the Bible. I am putting these to prove the tenacity of my stand:
Genesis 1 (New International Version)
Genesis 1
The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was [a] formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
9 And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. 10 God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.
11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
20 And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth." 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
24 And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [b] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

We are more like monkeys then like deities. We have hair, take care of our young, have primal urges, and sometimes act like monkeys. The only thing we have in common with a deity is emotions.

I know some people that act like monkeys but I didn't come from one. I think most people who are religious would say that no we did not come from monkeys. However, I do like eating bananas but that really is a different subject. People didn't come from monkeys and if they did then what did monkeys come from?

Nope i don't believe it, absolutely don't, monkey is an animal, and animal is animal, but if you think just like that, my answer is yes, yes for you can do it all of the things you mentioned before lol btw why did you want to be a monkey? it's impossible things ...
