Would you travel without a credit card but maybe just a debit card and traveler checks?
I'm about to travel to Columbia in about 10 days and I really would like to get your feedback.
Oh, I the trip is for seven days.

On the few occassions that I have been, The min that I have carried is $1000 either in the form of currency or travelers cheques. Plus I would have the credit card as well for an emergency. There is always that unsurety in one's mind especially when we visit a country for the first time. The amount would actually depend on your accomodation as that is usually the most expensive part of the trip. Then in my country there is also a restriction on the amount of foreign exchange you could carry with you.

Thanks, I guess I'm also afraid of getting robbed, losing my money or even missing my flight back. (LOL) Just stay home then right? I guess I just will have to be very mindful and extra cautious.
