Do you read with a voice when you are alone or before the computer if you wish to read something good to remember? If you read aloud and you are alone in the room, you are listening yourself and you become more concentrated what you are reading at this moment. I have tried to read the Bible or some economical lectures with a voice when I am alone in my room and the effect is amazing. I remember what I have read, but I can to retell it. So have a good time and try to read something like Holy Bible and lectures when you are alone that you may prepare very carefully for the exams.

I am a primary school teacher so I read aloud to the children using different voices. When I was a student I read silently the subject material that I found interesting but I read aloud the subject material that I found boring. This helped me get this into my brain and remember it. When working out an assembly plan I read aloud to practice. Yes, reading aloud helps concentration and memory I think.

I do that often when I was a kid,a student.Even now also I do that at times.Reading aloud is a good practice. It will not only help you to remember more, but also will improve your reading skill and pronounciation. While in school,I studied in Christian Missionary,so Bible was compulsory,we are made to memorise chapters and chapters and verses from the Bible. This method they use to improve our power of memory as well as learn many things from Bible. So,we usually, read aloud and memorised the verses.I still can recall some of the verses even now.It is a good practice. But,it doesn't mean we should scream and read aloud and disturb the other person. We should read with voice but not shout.
