hey guys,how to ease stress since many people in my family are suffering from it.

usually the doctors will tell you to ease stress is to control your temper. listen to your favorite music, i mean mellow music dont listen to rock music it will make your heart beat faster. have an aquarium in your house. the dr. says it will help you to ease your stress. pets helps people to ease stress. cause they are very sweet and very cuddly. ihave 3 cats in the house. it made me feel stress free. i dont know why. but it really helps.

i usually treat myself with some ice cream but it only makes me feel that i'm getting fatter with it.. my alternative would be listen to some Christian music and get enough sleep.. but there are times where i can't sleep at night no matter how sleepy i am because my mind is still thinking about things... if ever i have some time out, i usually go tho movie houses to somehow relax my mind even just for that moment.. also, praying and reading the bible helps me to relax because it is when i am reminded of God's promises that He is in control of everything and that i don't have to worry about anything.. and during the weekends, i assure my self that i will really give myself a break..

my personal way of handling stress is listening to music and i also read bible which comforts me, when i am stressed

Stress is a broad category and there are many things you can do to help ease it. First of all, I would try to find the major causes of stress. People suffer stress for different reasons. Once you can identify what triggers your stress you can take action. General overall remedies are diet and exercise. Exercise in particular is a big reliever. I find that after a good hard workout, I feel better in general and I have a better attitude. Meditation is another way people relieve stress. Getting out is good too. A hike or walk in a park or on a beach, somewhere awary from cellphones, television, radios, etc. Mother Nature is a powerful stress reliever. Hopy you and your family enjoy a stress-free weekend.
