Sadness is all i feel inside tonight...

I'm so sad and worried today.. My loving pet is sick. He's a 5 year old shih-tzu. He hasn't stopped vomiting since early today at 1:30am. He also did poop with blood. I have brought him to the vet and he had a laboratory test but everything is normal. The doctor is asking me if he had been poisoned cause vomiting is sometimes a sypmtom of poisoning but I don't know. He's dad, whose now 7 years old had the same food he had and he's ok. They go out together every morning and I always make sure I don't let them sniff things or trash on the streets. I'm really careful in handling them. Right now I can't do anything about it but to observe if he's going to be well by tommorrow. He's not suppose to eat anything nor drink water because thats only gonna make him vomit more. The vet told me if the vomitting continues till tommorrow he'll be given dextrose. The vet also gave him shots, 4 kinds of medicine. But he's still vomiting up to now and I think I'm seeing blood already in his vomit. Maybe the lining in his stomach or his troat is already bruised. I would really like to bring him to the hospital to be given dextrose but unfortunately theres no animal hospital in my hometown and the doctor's clinic is so far away from my place and its already late in the evening. I don't have a car to go the clinic neither. I also live alone with my 2 pets only. This is really so hard for me. Seeing my dog so sad and I know he's hurting somewhere.. I have contacted the vet again but we really have to wait till tommorrow. I'm not going to sleep again. I have to watch him because he vomits every now and then. I have to ease the pain and assure my pet that he's going to be well soon by embracing and talkng to him always. Thats just what I can do for now.
