Thanks for the response. For instance, it seems science is likened to an infinite staircase probing into the unknown; while technology is likened to each and every step. While mankind has so much technology, science is exploring new ways to make use of existing technology and create new technology. Penicillin was discovered by mistake by Dr. Fleming. Tired from a days work of testing samples, he noticed a petri dish with a bacteria sample that had fungus. He was surprised that this fungus killed bacteria. From then on it was known as penicillin and has saved millions of people from potentially fatal illnesses. It seems as in life, the wrong things is scientific discovery can lead to good results :) Cheers :)
