I have noticed, and it always happen to me for most of the songs. As long as I have not seen the video of my favorite song, I like the song more. But after watching video of that song for multiple times, the interest of that song in me starts decreasing.
However, I like watching music videos more, then listening to music. However while am about to sleep, my eyes are about to close, then its obvious that I prefer to listen to music then watching its videos.
How about you? do you prefer watching music videos or just listening to music?

hi navonly,
it depends on what music i am listening. if it's a classical music i usually listen, i would rather listen to music than watching its video. but when it is a song sung by beyonce or rihana, i definitely prefer the music video.

I like to listen to music while I'm doing what ever it is I'm doing. I have watched music videos befor and there ok nothing I would do on a regular basis.
There are alot of good tunes like from pink floyd that I enjoy lstening to the music and watching the video to it. But for the most part I like to listen to music by it's self in general.

It really varies on the video. I listen to Dance music, ex. house, techno, trance, and the videos are generally enjoyable to watch. For songs that you regularly hear on the radio, I find it best to listen to the song, rather than the video. My interest in a song actually increases when I'm viewing a video, as to me it is enhancing the quality(in most cases).
