Today I was in the market and I was looking for something, I found it and I was checking the price when a woman shove me to see the same thing. I said "you could say excuse me" and the woman look at me and go away without say nothing. It driven me crazy. Why some persons need to be so nasty and rude? Perhaps her tongue will fall if she say excuse me?How you feel about those things? Do you begin a strife or what?

I've worked in retail...you wouldn't believe some people and their rudeness abilities. They're everywhere. For me just simply biting my tongue and realizing that they must lead a miserable life in order going around like that all day.
And of course the ever lovely saying "You catch more bees with honey."

I definitely understand where you are coming from. Unfortunately, there are many rude people out their in the world, and there is really nothing we can do about it. Its other people's personalities, and we just have to try to not let it get to us so badly. It is hard but you just have to try. Rude people like that always get something coming to them eventually.

Everyone is saying they hate rude people.Yet,I work in retail and I'm constantly having to help someone while they are talking on their cell phone. If you want my full attention, give me yours. The same thing goes with cell phones and driving. Not only is it dangerous,it's just plain rude.No one likes to get cut off or get behind some idiot driving 10 miles below the speed limit while they're talking on the phone.
The problem is people aren't taught common courtesy anymore. The bigger problem is so-called adults aren't teaching their children courtesy.

Hi antiquelady. I hate this and when it happen my blood goes up to my head and I need to say something. I know that those people probably grow up in a stable without education but it bother me so much. It is too hard to say "excuse me please?". Thanks for your reply my friend.

Rude people make me angry, only because most of the time their behavior is uncalled for. I hate when people use the excuse, "I've had a bad day" to cover for their actions, because it's not an excuse. I was having a bad day two days ago, and I saw a teacher that I clashed with often at my school, and I was still able to put on a smile and wave, and talk to her when she asked how I was doing.

Hi teka, I have no time for rude people! All rude people do is make other people feel bad and why would you want to be around people like that? That woman needs to learn some manners. I would just ignore it, but I would also be a little upset by it as well. Anyway, she is the one with the attitude probelem, not me!

That happens a lot around here too. I always look at my husband and ask him if I have suddenly become invisible because so many people seem to act as though I am or I say "excuse you". I have never had anyone say anything back to me. I just feel everyone seems to think the world owes them something and it would hurt their pride to be nice to someone else.

Of course I don't really care for rude people at all. I guess my parents did a really good job with me and teaching good manners. I have maybe been too sheltered in my life and not having to be around such people. That when I see rude people I am astonished and amazed at some people. How so many people can be so different than me in this way. It makes me wonder what had happened or didn't happen in their life that had made them how they are.

I hate rude people! They think they own the world or something. I don't think the words "excuse me" or "I'm sorry" is in their vocabulary. There is no excuse for a person to be rude. The world would certainly be a better place if people would stop and think before they act. I try not to let rude people get to me, but sometimes they do make me mad! Best wishes!

Only had one bad encounter and that was from a person that really should know better. I was sending two big envelopes at a local store and the person taking my order was putting on stamps than all of a sudden he became extremely rude and yelled,
DO YOU WANT TO WATCH WHILE I PUT THE ENVELOPES IN A BAG !!
and I said..
No, I just want my recite.
Think it's pretty common to give recite without having to ask for it at least that
is how it works here and at that store I usually get it after they put on stamps because their printer used for recites takes awhile before printing.
Anyhow he looked like a complete retard to everyone there, didn't have to do anything for revenge could tell he felt like a moron :)

Some folk just make you sick, they want all others to be really polite to them but they dont want to give anything back.Well to my way of thinking there is no excuse for rudeness,so if she was rude then she ought to have apologised to you.But thats life and there are a whole heap of people out there, just rude as the days are long

You just have no choice but to accept people as they are . Feel compassion for them , because they may not have been brought up that well . It is also possible that they are facing some problem or are in hurry . Being considerate and laughing about it is the best way to go about it . Also, if possible you could tell that person but that is not advisable in all situations.

there are lots of inconsiderate people around the world. sometimes, there are those who will step on your feet in crowded places and won't even apologize at all. there are those who will look you from head to toe as if you're a dirty person and without any reason at all. whatever happens, just stay your cool. even if these people do so many unreasonable things to you, don't let them bring your mood down.

I hate rude people as well. I went shopping today and I saw a grown woman yelling at a store clerk because the thing she wanted shipped to her would take 6-8 weeks, and she was yelling that it shouldn't take that long and why can't the clerk do anything blah blah blah. I just rolled my eyes...some people just never grow up, and some people never think of how they're making other people feel.

I totally know what you mean. I don't understand why people have to be so rude. I run into people like that everyday because I work retail. And I tell you, it takes a lot of control to not stoop to their level and really get them to be nice and courteous.

I detest these people - they are not only rude, they are inconsiderate.
And yup, they come complete with the glare, like as if looks could kill!
Usually, I'd just stand in place and ignore them totally (absolutely refuse to budge one cm); or if I'm in a really nasty mood, I could go further and ask about their education or family upbringing!
