Well this is a good topic to discuss..... What I feel is every top player in the world has a chance..... If you ask me the reason,I would rather say a couple of things... They are: 1) Olympics is completely different from Grand Slams.... Here, you are playing for the country and the entire contingent is expecting everyone in the squad to perform at their best and win a medal..... 2) The climate in Beijing is a very big factor...... Almost, every player has complained about the hot climate..... This will be really tough for European and American players..... But I still think that Roger Federer of Switzerland would win the gold..... He would love to comeback to his best before the US Open.... He also wants to prove to the entire world that he is still at his best..... About Rafael Nadal of Spain,he will feel the pressure as the entire Spain and also the entire world is expecting him to win the gold after winning French Open and Wimbledon...... This will affect his performance....... So I think Federer will win the gold but I would love to see Nadal winning it.
