What do you think about before you go to sleep?
do you think at night?
Sometimes before I go to sleep I will think about stuff. I might think about what i am gonna do tomorrow or what i had did today. If i did something interesting then i might think about that too. Sometimes I will not think at all though.. I will just watch my T.V till i fall asleep.
Do you think thinking keeps you up longer? or can you fall asleep while your thinking?

i do recollect the things that I have done. recalling what have achieve with in the day and the things i need to achieve for the next day. What I have said that have cause trouble or have hurt others. With that, I have to remind myself that if a situation like that in the future occurs I have to correct it. Anyhows, If I am so tired, I cannot do it any longer.

Thinking about things when you go to sleep keeps you awake and its usually for one of two reasons, ok well everything could be put into one of them unless your emotionless I guess.
Anxiety - being worried about something that has happened, is happening or is going to happen will keep you awake and the emotional strain will have the impact of tiring you out but keeping you awake so that you cannot recover so much.
Excitement - if your excited about the prospect of something say for example a new relationship then this will often give you a "second wind" as it were which will also keep you awake for longer.

I don't want to think, but I do. I think about my friends and any troubles they have, I think about my job, my mom, my plans for the next few days, paying the bills, my dogs, wonder whether I'll be able to pay my bills, worry about my small retirement funds and how to add to them, etc. It's no wonder I have trouble sleeping. It help to say my prayers, though, half the time I fall asleep while I say them because I've spent so much time worrying about everything!

sadly, thinking about all sorts of things, emotions, chores, money
issues is the main reason i have problems falling asleep.
it would be nice if i could program myself:
ok, sam, you have 15 minutes to worry and stew about things
and then you will automatically be at peace and fall asleep.
i think it's only human nature to go over the day that you've
just experienced, or the one coming up tomorrow.
if i KNOW it's going to be impossible to relax, i've begun
taking a natural aid called melatonin. it's great and there
is no "hangover" feeling in the morning. it's non-addictive, too.
