I do hate that my hubby leaves his shoes in the middle of the floor but, what I hate more is that my kids do it too. The only way I can get them to pick up their shoes and put them away is by threatening them. I tell them that if they don't put away their shoes, they're going into the trash and they know i'll do it because i've done it before.

oh, probably your husband does it just to get attention from you. but should the case be not, then you better tell him straight that you really hate it when he leaves his shoes on the floor. my husband does not do the same but should he be doing that then i will just approach him and tell him right then that his habit isn't anymore funny.

He's a little thing that might work. Tell your husband that you don't like it when he leaves his shoes in the middle of the floor and if he puts them where they belong every day for a week, you will do what ever he wants. he he he. Then repeat it next week. Good habits are learned.

I don't know you can stop your husband. Usually by adulthood they are set in their ways but I am trying to stop my 3 yr old son from taking off his shoes in the kitchen and leaving them in the middle of the room. I am forever falling over them. I figure now is the time I have to break him of this bad habit before he reaches adulthood and leaves them in the middle of the room for his wife to fall over.

you want to ask this question which means you dont want to say directly to your husband that dont leave the shoes in the middle of the floor.i can understand.Act as if you trip of it,cry a lot.say him that your legs are paining.if you do this defnetly he himself says that it was his mistake to leave shoes in the middle of the floor.

I sure do! Instead of picking them up, I will kick them aside as it drives me crazy, especially if I had tripped over them.
You could always hide them until he gets the hint to not leave them out in the middle of the floor. Just a thought.

Well i am not married but the father of my children leaves his shoes and his clothes everywhere. He comes home from work takes his shoes off by the door and then he takes his socks off and throws them anywhere. I always find them in the living room. It is so disgusting!
