Are all Christians against Harry Potter?

They're not against Lord of the Rings but they're against Harry Potter. They both have magic in them. Shouldn't people just be happy that kids want to read? Surely God won't send them to hell for reading fantasy books.

I am not and think it is only a few extream (cult)Christians who see it as evil. I agree most of the children's bed time story's ( fairy stories) have witches or wizards in Lord of the rings also I did not hear such an outcry about that.

I'm a Christian, and I love the story of Harry Potter! So i don't think all Christians are against the story. I've heard there were religions banning this JK Rowling masterpiece but I think they shouln't coz this is just another fiction story. It's not real so why should they bother banning it?

Not all Christians. I am a Christian I like Harry Potter. I think that some are just worried that thier kids will get interested in Witch craft.

I've never heard about this and I'm Christian and live a strict Christian island;Malta. I've never heard that Harry Potter interferes in our religious vows.I'm really surprised about hearing this.I can't understand really why Christians are agaisnt harry potter! J.K Rowling doesn't mention a God or even mention anytype of superior being..with that I can't understand why people came out with this controversy.Personally I'm not against Harry Potter in any way.More to it I must admit I'm a huge fan of HP.
