why we use laptop instead of home pc ?

Working in my home office I still prefer my desktop computer. But, you can't beat the laptop for it's mobility. It is wonderful to be able to travel and bring my 'office' with me!

I have a desktop and a laptop. I use my desktop for business reasons. I don't want to be too comfortable and I want to stay awake. I use my laptop for leisure, when I am surfing the web, playing a game. It is portable and I can use it while lying across my bed, or sitting on the couch watching tv.

laptop is used if you want to take it places with you, traveling or using it elsewhere than home. it is a mobile computer... desktop is for home use only, unless u have one in ur business office too.

I prefer laptop, I can go anywhere and yet I can still work. It is very good for people who writes a lot and works online. One hardest thing to do is to bore ourselves while working because the tendency is we quit it. Working in a cool place is great and it is possible to see the seashore, sunset, mountain top,sceneries with my laptop..

I only have a laptop at home. I like it because I live in a pretty small apt so a desktop with a desk would have taken up a huge space. Instead i can just pull out my little laptop and play online on the couch while I'm watching tv :)

see,laptop has become more reilable for now..one thing the rate has gone down which was preventing common people to swing to the age of so called laps..for an engg student like me...system is essential one and as i am staying in the hostel..i find laptp the best way to carry my projects to college as well as to home rathert than wrting the latest updates to cds..so one intial capital is inversted..u canhave ues for ever..so i believ lap is good way for keeping u s updated profesionally... thank u

Desktop is so ok, but I'd prefer using a laptop or notebook because they're mobile. I could bring a laptop anywhere I want specially in the office. I need a computer in my work, so a laptop or a notebook is for me.

Dear friend, I hope it is a part of technology advancement, we had land phones, mobile phones, now watch phones so as the technology changes we change from desktop to laptop as it is easy to transport and has many other facilities as in desktop, may be notebook, then pamtop so on goes advancement and the society too changes according to and those who do not change they be put in the list of those in generation gap or outdated.

i use home pc at home and i only use laptop at work. i am a musician and i use my laptop every performances. i dont use my laptop to surf the net. if i will surf the net or i will log in to mylot i use our desktop. there are a lot of important files there at my laptop and i dont want it to get contaminated with virus. so i use home pc when surfing the net and like this when i am at mylot.

i like pc's fine, but i think a laptop would be handy because you can take it wherever you want, like on trips and stuff. plus wireless internet is cool.
