I am in a wheelchair part time, but even so I am finding I am getting the bums rush on society. A Canadian Restaraunt chain "Tim Hortons" is changing there counters because another part of canada likes them......I however find them to tall (at 5 feet for the display and 3 feet for the cashier) to feel welcome at the store anymore. I have also noticed many other stores, bar and restaraunts and are cramming in space with "bulky items" and thus I have no access. Is society giving up on the disabled? or do people just feel we are a nuecence and don't belong in normal society? What your opionion?

My friend I to understand. I am now in a Chair full time after suffering a stroke last year. I dont leave the house much for people just stare. I have been push out of the way in grocery stores and rarely get help if I need it. My friend says if I need help so much to pay her money and then she'll do it (like I would pay anyone especially a friend). So hang in there people who are able boby just dont realize what they have until the loose it.
