I've watched this twice and I really do love this movie. I love the scene wherein he was awarded the noble peace prize. :)
Eventhough he has a mental disorder, it didn't hinder him to excel in his field.
For you, what is the best scene?
I'll be waiting for your responses.

i also like that scene. he was a very intelligent man and being a schizophrenic had not stopped him from being a professor although he was already old. his story was really inspiring. wasn't it true to life story?
i love this line from him. "It's only in the mysterious equation of love that any logical reasons can be found. I'm only here tonight because of you. You are the only reason i am.. You are all my reasons."

Same.
I'd like to comment on the suggested conlusions of the film:
It seems we must entertain thoughts even from those who are partly insane :)
Carl G. Jung was Freuds peer. Jung said : "Bring me a sane man and I will cure him for you" (it's not a typo, really he insists on curing a sane man. He was serious.)
Tell me what you think :)
Cheers :)

Yes, I know him. :)
I remembered that during the discussions in our class. I'm a psychology student right now. :)
I believe in Carl Jung :)

My favorite is the one you talked about. That movie always makes me cry when I watch it. It shows that no matter what people throw at you and no matter how rough it gets, you can still overcome things in your life that hold you back. In the end it only makes you stronger.
