YOUR views on the internet

i use internet very often to make pc calls to my guy as he is living so far away from me and i alos use it to work online and read more spiritual stuffs online and sometimes i also play online, i like shockwave i mostly like all the games in it and i check mails and respond to my friends whom i cannot meet daily i use internet for these reasons and my reasons i think they really needed for me and im using it for a purpose of earning money also!!!

I do spend a lot of time on the net but I am using it to find information, promote my work and to earn money from the things I do online. I enjoy adding a few responses at myLot in between other activities - researching and writing, voting and rating, blogging and taking part in paid opinion polls or surveys. I think it is important to have a life in the 'real world' too - then we can all enjoy discussing our lives at myLot! Have fun.

Well, I use the internet not everyday. Whenever I use the internet, the most number of hours that I spend is three hours. It's only a mtter of discipline. Internet is a very good source of information. We learn many things, bad or good, in the internet. It's our discretion which site to visit.

The Internet is only as good as the people who use it. The Internet should not be viewed as a means of living, but as a tool that provides a more effective and efficient way of allowing us to live as best as we can. I see the Internet as the most effective tool for my own career, as I wish to get involved with the development and deployment of E-Learning and E-Commerce web systems, as well as developing websites in general. It is an effective tool for my own learning of my subject specialism, as well as providing me with entertainment and enjoyment. Oh, and it's also a good tool for earning a bit of money! The Internet has had some bad press, but this I find revolves around individuals who abuse the presence of the Internet to make people's lives a misery for some reason. The Internet is really, as I have said earlier, only as good as your experience with the Internet, and what you actually use it for. I personally think that the Internet has had a positive influence on my life, and shall, hopefully, be positive in terms of finance.

Hello Robert, Just like any other tools, internet has it's own proper and improper usage as well. A kitchen knife should be just used to cut meats, vegetables and maybe fruits - and it should stay in the kitchen. However, there are cases where people got creative, bring the kitchen knife out of the kitchen (maybe they should named it multi-purpose knife) and used it on humans instead. The same goes for internet. I do agree with you that it should be just used sparingly instead of spending hours using it. However, like the example above, people starts to get 'creative' and thus many usage for it spawn out. Well, it is not bad if the internet users are not addicted to it or neglect his own personal health and relationship with the family just because of internet. It is just not worth it. For me, I spend more around 4 hours daily in front of the internet to maintain my blog, Earn Money Online, and do other stuffs such as checking of email and reading up interesting news.

i too think that people spend more time on internet inststed of utilizing it in a useful way. even me........

I think robert its depend on person. What is the choice of person, how they use them.

I beleive what ever you said, made a lot of sense. It is really nice if you be aware of how much time you are spending everytime on internet. It is really useful thing as you know a lot of new information through it. but sometimes we end up getting some useless information which is not good for us and the kids. So all these things should be avoided.

I seriously think that there should be a law ha ha jk but tons and tons of people spend more than half there day doing pointless crap on the computer. Most of the stuff you mentioned is a complete waste of time and should be flamed and tourched jk ha ha well just be careful on how much you time you spend on the internet.
