Today is Lazy Day! Woo Hoo!!!

So what are your plans for today?
It is not hot or muggy here in Maryland. In fact, we are enjoying wonderful summer weather with no AC! I gotta love it.
DH is out crabbing so we will have crabs later today with friends.
The only thing I was going to do toda was laundry but there is chances of thunderstorms, so I don't think I am going to hang them out to dry. So maybe I will just wait until tomorrow to the laundry and be totally lazy today! LOL
Lazy Day is your chance to goof off, and definitely not work. And, it definitely comes at a good time. Hot, muggy weather makes it easy to kick back and be lazy for a day. If summer chores are not done by now, they can just wait one more day. It is best spent on a hammock, along with your favorite summer beverage.
Whoever said "There's no lazy days...just lazy people." Well, we respectfully disagree. Today is proof positive. It is indeed a Lazy Day. And, we consider that a good thing.

I don't have very many plans for today myself. I'm about to get dressed so I can go to the store to get a few things for school so I'll have them when I move back on Friday. Other than that, I may have to think of something good to have for dinner but I can't think of anything else I'd have to do aside from really get my butt in gear and finish all the sorting and college packing.

Oh, I'm so glad that you had a Lazy Day today. Those are always nice. I don't have very many of those anymore. I usually can think of so many things to be done that I just feel better if I, at least, do one or 2 of them.
However, I didn't do a whole lot today. We drove home from Palm Beach this morning. We got home about 10 a.m. I unpacked, then we went grocery shopping and put that stuff away. Then, I fixed lunch. Then, I watched some of the Olympics while I tried to do some emails. I am pretty buried under right now as we were out of town a couple of days and I didn't do hardly any internet stuff.
I cooked dinner and cleaned that up. Now, I'm myLotting. I guess that's pretty much a Lazy Day for me, too!

Wasn't today wonderfully cool?? And the nights as well - a welcome break from the natural saunas we'd been experiencing! I actually get more done on cool days than I do on hot, muggy days. But, I can see enjoying a cool day off - a day where you could actually enjoy and appreciate the change of climate, even if temporary. I'm all for that!! 
How many of those thunder squalls did you get in MD? We had FOUR come through our area in S. Jersey from around 10 this morning on. They were pretty powerful, too, dropping nickel and pingpong ball-sized hail in towns to the West and East of us. 
But, it's so nice to have cooler temps - even the cats are happy!!
