Good point, I had been thinking of buying a MC with a high capacity. I only have 2 flash drives with 1 GB and another one with 4 GB. The problem with that is I can't use them with my phones and cameras...

I think Flash Drives are more versatile than memory card if you are using it with PC. For mobile device, you don't have the option for flash drives , only memory cards. Both devices are made of flash memory technology, Flash Drives are cheaper and less error pron than memory cards.

Good question.I am just wondering on this, coz I need a portable data carrier to store more than 4G data which is downloaded from the web.The web speed is slow here,so the data is valuable for me.I have bought a memory card of 2G,it is cheap compared with that of one year ago.But it is not enough for me to use now, however,it has reached the upper limit of the supported memory of my phone.I find flash drives is much cheaper.I can buy a 4G flash drive with almost the price of a 2 G memory card,so I think I may buy one later.

Flash drives! I just find them a lot easier to keep track up and not lose. The only thing I don't like about them is how easy they break. One year in school I had all my work saved on i and exams were coming up. It fell on the floor and I noticed it broked. Depresing, but I managed!

Sounds tragic, but at least, you were able to run away from it.

I prefer flash drive over memory cards for the reason of not all PC today are equipped with a card reader unlike flash drive that you can use to any computer that has a usb port, flash drives are much more easy and fashionable to carry a flash drive, flash drive has a standard size unlike memory that has different sizes that you have to find the appropriate card reader for your memory card and most importantly flash drives are much affordable than memory cards.
