when i was a freshman in the college,my foreign teacher told us that westlife have already out of date and we should know that ,in britain, their songs are specially for teenagers.he said that these songs are meaningless.
i was very angry with him coz of his criticize on my icon.
sometimes,i'm wondering whether pop music is degrated for it's easiness.

The music industry wants teenagers to spend their parent's money. People in their 40s don't rush out to buy the new Brittany Spears cd. The music is crap if you can call the accompaniment music at all. It doesn't take a musician or anyone with any talent to create the music.
Next we have the vocals. Once again it doesn't take very much talent to sing what most of them sing. The words are terrible. It seems like they wrote them with a computer rhyming machine. It is all bad.

i think the enjoyment of music has something to do with age as well.in different age phrase, people like different kinds of music.
then,i don't think all the pop music are so junk as u said.i think as long as we can get some feelings from the music or get relaxed,it is meaningful and wonderful.

It is the person's choice of course.
The point I am making is that certain music targets certain people.
I don't know for sure but I would bet that more older people listen to classical music than teenagers.
I don't know for sure but I would bet that more teenagers listen to Hannah Montana Cyruss than older people.

I am contrary to that. Music comes in various forms. It doesn't need to be complex to be meaningful. People on the other hand also have different music pallettes. If you think you're enjoying with your music, just go on with it. I see nothing wrong about it.
