when i go to a nursing home.

i just read sparky's response to my cardboard testimonies discussion. i told her when i get older (i'm now 60), and i go to a nursing home, i would like her to share a big room with me. i want the bed closest to the bathroom as we will be laughing all day and night and I will need to zoom to it alot. we will hide food for snacking late at night. we will steal a flashlight so we can go outside and lay on the grass and look at the stars and make wishes. we will pants the orderlies. what chaos we will cause. wheelchair races, bedpan golf, and more. Would this story be filmed into an old peeps version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? anyone want to claim their bed along side of us ? what mischief could you cause? well, more than sparky ?

I will join you. we can get straws and make spit balls. Try to hit a target. Moving or not. My son tell's me I will never be in a nursing home how ever. But you know when you just kind of know better. When they can't take care of a cat you think what are my chance's lol. I think I would get fed in nurcing home. He mite forget that I needed to eat like the cat. We could tell dirty stories as we can get away with it there. They will just think we are crazy anyway. I hope I'm as strong as my Mom who is in better health then me now. lol. She is 68 has a 3 acer garden and rides motorcyle's and goes everywhere. Me I can bairly move. Hips bad knee's shoulder's. I make it to work and work. But my home is not as clean anymore in pain to much. My Mom got all the good gene's and didn't share I got all the crap ones. Here's to big fun. Can we flash then as well?

of course we have to flash ! i'll have to make sure to totally remove my depends garments though. there's just not as much impact if you flash and all you show is your diaper ! spit balls. dirty stories. dirty jokes. made-up yarns of our younger days. i loved your "...moving or not!"

A ranch sounds nice. But when I pass on can I be put in the garden and i will then help grow big plants. The best ever. Ashes to ashes you know lol

hmmm, wonder if i should buy the ranch-o now ? it's fixin' to be a cold winter. we'll need to have them bring in lots and lots of firewood. Lord have mercy. in thongs in boots walking back and forth toting wood. we'll be able to rock and reminise for years to come about that chore.

yes, take notes. so when the ranch-o is purchased we will have all these fine members living with us. we will need a ranch hand with a cute butt. we can all vote on which one, too.

hahaha, funny you are planning to go to a nursing home already. why not just stay with your kids. in my country, if the parent is old already and cant take care of himself or herself its time for the kids to take care of them. thats a filipino way of loving their parents. we also have home for the aged here. but most of them who is living on that place have no relatives or children. well goodluck to us. anyways, im only 47 i still have a long way to go and think about where to stay just incase im old already.

the pennsylvania dutch (german) have a saying....the age of fifty is the spot right between the sunlight and shadows. halfway point of your life. i'm closer than you. this is obviously started as a tongue-in-cheek discussion. when my time comes, i'm sure my daughter and SIL will insist on taking care of me. sparky lives in a different country than i do. this may be the only way we will meet.

shoot ! if i went with them i'd be watching marines dressed up in cammies or dress uniforms. i think it's a sign of military honor that they salute crazy, old broads ! i'd rather look at the cowboys. we'd name them all SHANE in case we'd get confused. tho' in thongs we'd be sure to identify them proper.
