"OK where the heck is it?...... I just typed a post and...

I cant find the symbol for "cents" on my keyboard, I see the dollar sign "$" where the heck is the Cents symbol? LOL I never noticed this before. Is it some key combo I am not aware of? Please help as I will be staring at this keyboard all night! LOL Where is it?

I always wondered the same thing, there is no cents sign on the keyboard but, on the old typewriters there is. Had to look a few minutes but, I found a site where it shows you little known keyboard shortcuts. To make a cents sign hold the alt key down and push 0162 in order and you will get ¢ :) http://home.earthlink.net/~awinkelried/keyboard_shortcuts.html

almost forgot, use the numbers on the ten key side of the keyboard.

You know, I was looking for the cents key on my keyboard a few days ago. I never realized that there was not one on there before then.

LOL , isn't that funny! A couple of posts above from Kat and Leizlmarie tell how to get it, it is not working for me as I am on a laptop, and am a newbie so I can't pate yet! WAAAA WAAA

The character map won't come up either? It may not have been installed when the os was put on. I will see if I can find anything else or a different way to do it.

Ya know, i dont see it either...great point. There has to be a way to do it though, i would think...but then again maybe not..hmm now you will have me staring at the keyboard..lol

LOL, my job is done here! Isn't it weird? I know you can do it in MS Word, but why the heck isn't it here? Hmmmmm LOL, this is going to drive me nuts! Not as nuts as if you actually saw it and I didn't LOL
