iTunes lacking AC/DC

They have thousands of songs, yes, but go to look for AC/DC (the real artist, not tribute bands) and you're out of luck. I grew up with songs like Highway to Hell, mostly because my father is an old rocker, well, I started buying stuff from iTunes, decided to look up AC/DC to get some of the songs I've loved since I was a kid, and what do I get? Tribute bands! No real AC/DC, you would think a band as well known as them would be on iTunes, I have yet to find out why they aren't on there, does anyone know?

I noticed that not too long ago and wondered about it as well. I know there are deals out there that prevent artits from having their songs on iTunes and I've run into several of them, AC/DC being one of them. It's a shame but I'm hoping something will change when their new album comes out later this year. Maybe we'll start to see their songs appear on iTunes.

If you think about it, they are missing out on some good income by not being on iTunes.

Hi victoria, Yeah I don't like that at all, when go and look for the band I like Yhat is what I find as well I don't like tribute band at all. When I use to go to my mother's house that is all I used to heare AC/DC being played by my mum's lodgers, she used to have lots of young boys who are my brother's friends all staying there and my mum shouting at them to keep the noise down, it used to be fun in the old days. Sorry but I haven't a clue what iTunes is so I cannot help you in that. Tamara

AC/DC has an exclusive deal with Verizon music store to sell their music. Supposedly you can only buy whole albums and no singles.

iTunes is notorious for not having enough or decent types of music(decent music is up to interpretation, but when everyone claims it lacks decent music...). You're probably going to have to go buy an album at a music store, as iTunes probably won't have anything that you're looking for in the near future.
