How Do You Feel About Gas Prices?

I live in Texas. There are oil and gas wells every 5 miles here! Some closer!! Gas has bneen almost $4 a gallon. What the heck? Makes not sense to me when it is everywhere around us here. The price did come down this week for some reason. the cheapest I have seen is $3.59 at WalMart. Still I say why? why? why? When we have all of these gas wells around us do we have to pay this high price? Grocery prices have sky rocketed because of it too., People just cannot afford to keep going like this.

The gas prices here in the United States seems to be going down. Regular where I buy has dropped down to $3.67. It has gone down a little every few days lately. But, we won't hold our breath because it could go right back up again just as easily. The price of food has gone up along with almost everything else. Don't know where it will stop. But hopefully, they are bringing the gas back down some. But, you are right. I've noticed that tuition for college is also going up here. The prices make it hard on people who are just making ends meet or living from pay check to pay check. People are losing their homes over here right and left. They just can no longer afford their mortgages. I'm afraid it's going to get worse before it gets better.

They are crazy! Just another example of corporate greed and the rich getting richer while the poor get poorer........ Think about it, the oil companies, they are in no way struggling yet the prices increase, we working class keep having to shell out massive amounts just for gas giving the already rich oil companies more money..... It's sick! I wish all those oil company owners would be forced to live as working class people for a month, I bet you they wouldn't survive it!!!!!!!
