Me and my wife have saved up and are about to go on Cruise. I was wondering what we could do around Hawaii that would make our adventure more fun and relaxing. If you have been on a cruise and have had a great time, please share your highlights so me and my wife can make it one of our highlights.

I cruise frequently and have cruised Hawaii. One big thing is make sure you fly in at least a few days before to enjoy the port you are leaving from. On a few of the islands we just rented a car. But that being said, our friend had been ther before and he knew the high lights. We also did a few ship tours. The best advice I can give you is to join a cruise discussion baord where you will get some very good advice. The one I go to most frequently is Cruise Critic.
What ship are you going on? We prefer Royal Caribbean ships.

I do not care for Carnival, their decor is not my style. Plus I like the newer RCI ships. My husband and I love the flow rider on Freedom, not to bad for over 60's. We are booking the new ship Oasis of the Seas due out Dec '09. We are going to try the zip line ( but hey I like roller coasters anyhow). You will find Cruise critic very helpful.
Hawaii is awesome, we went back a year after our cruise. We stayed in Oahu. Lots to do there.
