When was the time the witches are being hunted?

I need some help here, i need the exact date about this age/period where women are being killed for some witch idea. thanks!

well this really isnt hunting but a student did try to burn his teacher alive recently thinking she was a witch.. i posted about it a few minutes ago.. but as far as organized mass searching i am not sure..

In Europe they occurred up to 1750 and some are still going on

As far as I know the most recent example was the Salem Witch Trials in 1692 at least as far as america is concerned but other countries might still hunt witches today.
