Was August 8, 2008 or 08-08-08 became a real lucky day for you?

Many superstitious people, Chinese specially predicted a lucky day on 08-08-08. Well how was this day to you? Did it turn out really lucky or otherwise? Maybe you have one good experience to share. Well to me I do not believe in luck. I only believe that God will always bless me anytime, anyplace, anywhere, if.... I abide with him.

for me 8 is my favorite number, but i never seen any luck in me on that day, aug. 8, 2008 is just an ordinary day for me. i believe that we, ourselves make our good luck, not that the feng shui or the numbers, we are lucky because we are hardworking & also with the help of God..

I'm not superstitious and I'm not a chinese. 08-08-08 is just a simple day for me with all the tasks I've done, nothing is new or lucky except that I'm still alive. There were many chinese beliefs that is being passed to us and can't believe that those who are non-chinese or nothing chinese in their blood believe it specially those who put many round fruits on their table on new years eve. Afterwards, they found themselves eating all those fruits in a hurry to avoid being rotten. What a waste of money isn't it?
Prayer and hard work will give us luck everyday.

Ha!ha!ha! Right you are! I never subscribe to Chinese or whatever superstitious belief. I am not a Chinese after all. And right, all those round fruits in the table during New Year's Eve did not in anyway change the living of my superstitious neighbors. In fact if you will go to Binondo, Chinese vendors are selling so many lucky charm. Why? Because they have already fooled so many people and have made lots of money out of it.

i also don't believe that it is luck and that God just gives us what should be given to us. i can't remember something good happened to me on that date 08-08-08. it was bad instead for my salary in my part-time job didn't arrive on time, (neildc @ red/88/1550)

Well my friend indeed you are right, God is the giver of everything. Actually there are always blessing for each day given by God,all we have to do is just open our eyes and look around for blessings that are readily available for us. Well your salary might be delayed but after all it is not lost and you still got it don't you? So that is still a blessing! ha!ha!ha!

it was just also an ordinary day for us..nothing special had happened..i was just watching television and watching many people get married,gave birth and do something thinking that it will be lucky for them..it was just the same last 06-06-06 they said it is the # of demon so it will be an unlucky day but as i remember it turns out to be an ordinary day too..
