If I plan to type materials, I will clip my fingernail. If I don't, I can't strike the key in a right angle and I can't type smoothly and quickly. When I have clip the fingernail, I can type smoothly and quickly, the smooth feeling is quite wonderful, just like dance according to a beatiful melody. Do you clip fingernail for typing?

I was curious and tried to find out what the experts say the average nail length is suppose to be for men and it said "The nails should never be more than one eight of an inch (or 3 mm) in length." I don't know if this seems too short or too long for many men. http://ezinearticles.com/?Basic-Finger-Nail-Care-for-Men&id=698767 I guess what ever makes the person feel comfortable.

i dont like my finger nails too long.. one time i did try false nails as thought look nice and prettier but i could NOT type with them, was terrible trying to chat in msn so i soon ripped them off in frustration lol mine just slightly longer then fingertips, and so fine for typing. I really do not know how secretaries that have these really long nails actually manage to type fast and comfortably, i guess used to it

I normally use the tips of my nails to type, then again my nails don't break easy so they can withstand the torment, and if I do break one it's no big deal, it'll grow back, lol.
