What relaxes you when you're stressed...?

Every time you are stress, what makes you relax? or who makes you relax?

When I am stressed I tend to take a few deep breaths and close my eyes.It releases some of my anxiety when I let the breaths out and I feel I can deal with the situation at hand.I don't always do this but I try.

My husband relaxes me...he rubs my shoulders and back and just talks to me..

when ever i am in stress I hear old soothing music . music has magical touch it will take me to an elevated state so that I forget my sorrows .other things are meditation .when I meditate and think about god and think that god only knows what is good for me and he will give me what is good to me i will get peace of mind

My girl friend & my daughter... Just sitting around in their presence tend to calm me down... There are times that doesn't work & even they're the ones stressing me out, lol... Usually going for a drive & coffee helps me releave some stress...

i go walking whenever i am stressed, the fresh scent of flowers on the street, nature makes me feel beautiful and happy.

Praying myself to sleep relaxes me in times of stressed. It's a better far experience than crying (few times i do too). It relieves me from my emotional and physical burden as well as it refreshes me upon waking up. I also play tennis after a stressful day and I have been proving it effective.

Whenever I felt too much pressure, I paused for a while and take a deep breathe, since I am a Christian I would go to my Bible and read few passages, meditate and pray. The next thing I usually do is that, I would doing some games, or getting online just to leave of stress out of my mind, its my way of relaxing my mind. A few minutes I would take a nap and drink water or juice, this way, I would be able to cope up with things and get rid of stress. Happy day !

When stressed I love to listen to my music which I find really relaxes me. Either that or phone a friend or family member for a chat which often helps. A hot bubble bath is good, (with music) and candles. I like to try meditating but this is no good once stressed. I need to be in a calm state of mind to do it.

i would really love a can of coke.. ya i know the sugar content and the caffein but chilled coke can really release all tension even the common cold, can be cured by the coke (for me at least)
