Do you go beyond page one?

When looking for discussions to respond to, do you go beyond page one or do you just go to another tab? For example, when you are viewing the page one of "friends started" and can't find something you can respond to, do you go on to the second page or other pages beyond page one to look for something interesting or do you just choose another tab like "my interest" or "no responses"? I don't usually go beyond the page one. I would just choose anther tab. Especially if I am in the "today's top" tab. How about you? Do you go beyond page one?

Occasionally I do yes. I am sure that like many others on here there are just some days when you can't seem to find much that inspires you, so you tend to dig a little deeper than normal! I practically never look through "My Interests" but lately I have been spending a lot of time in "New" and "Recent" discussions. The place though that I ALWAYS start is "Friends Started". I only start going through these other sections if I do not instantly find something of interest that my friends have posted. I used to look through "No Responses" but have to say I rarely do that anymore either.

I also think that sometimes we tend to dig a little deeper especially when I am kind of bored. I just lurk around looking for discussions which I haven't really heard of. And sometimes I do find them in page 20 or something! Have a nice day!

I also do that sometimes. The discussions in the first page of the "today's top" tab are mostly those that I have answered already and those in other pages are the ones I haven't answered but equally interesting. Have a nice day!

I sometime reach up to page 5... i think this is faster than checking at my friends discussions throught he email notification... just right now... i did not look through my email... but went straight to the friends started page... and i already responded to like 5 discussions... including this one...

You really are into helping your friends out. Sometimes, friends' discussions are easily shoved into the higher pages that it became hard to see them and the only ones left in the first page is the most popular. Good thing to have you as a friend!

Yes, I do go beyond page one specially if I find nothing interesting in page one. And also I make it a point to look at all the choices, the new, today's top, my interests, recent, but I always give priority to posts started by my active friends. I also reply to new user to give them moral support. Have a nice day!

It's always nice to give our support to our friends. Sometimes however, the discussions started by our active friends don't fall in the first page so I guess we really have to go beyond page one. Have a nice day!

I'd go beyond page one; as there could be discussions I missed the day before. Sometimes I may not be able to respond to a discussion; but days later, I find that I could have something to say! So I'd go through all the pages each time!

Yes, it is always the case. There are discussions which we really haven't seen before which are hidden under those pages and which really are interesting ones. It really helps if we go beyond the first page. Have nice day!

I tend to go beyond page one first, and then if most things on the next few pages are things I've already seen before, then I move to a different tab. I don't know why, but for some reason I'm loathe to switch from tab to tab. It may be because there are only a few tabs I frequent (my interests being one of the most-visited for me) and others that I rarely look at at all (like today's top).

I actually just visit the "today's top" tab and the "hot" tab to see what most of the myLot community is talking about. I only comment on them when I really like the discussion. Like you, I don't go beyond page one because most of the discussions on the second and next pages are those that I have already seen. Have a nice day!

I usually go on the at least 5 or 6 pages and sometimes through all of them before going to the next tab. Then I try for my friends and then those with no response. Some days it hard to find something that I want to respond to and others days it's easy. I like to keep my interests until last.

Some times it seems like the supposedly new discussions are the same ones and they keep to page one. There are only ten pages. So I do go through all of them some days

Sometimes it is really hard to find something to respond to. Those were the days when I go beyond page one. I think there are a lot to discover beyond the first pages, discussions that we haven't really read before. Have a nice day!

Some days it is hard to find any discussions that I want to respond to. I only respond to ones that relate to me or interest me. So I usually keep on going until there are no more pages to go to.

LOL I do exactly the same as you do!! I go through the tabs but never go beyond the first page of each tab. I have thought to myself a few times that I do not know why I dont just go through all the pages in each tab but I just get bored of that!

I do it because I want to make the most of my little time here and sometimes I think going beyond the first pages would in a sort be a waste of time because the discussions I would find there are less recent. have a nice day!

Good for you to have a lot of time. I guess people who don't really have a lot of time just look at page one and go to other tabs if they don't find anything to respond to. There are also times when I have a lot of time and that is the time when I just lurk around going to other pages. I guess the time available really is a factor. Have a nice day!

Your English is very good. With the Olympics going on now, in the United States, we are seeing a lot about your country on TV. It seems like a lot of people in China were learning English because of all the visitors coming for the Olympics.

I actually never go the next page of any topic. I am looking to post responses in the little time I get while I am at work. This is 'extra money' right? so I don't spend too much time looking for discussions. I just see what all discussions are latest ones, or hottest or any discussion that interests me.

Yes, this is extra money. I also do that when I have little time. I just choose discussions which are easier to response to so that I can respond to more discussions and thus making more money. the only time I go beyond page one is when I really have a lot of time to waste. Have a nice day!

Well if a topic really interests me or if someone had been posting discussions under the same topic, I really go through the other pages to find better discussions. Otherwise I just check page one and usually if I find a good topic then I'll go answer it right away.

There are times that I can't find a discussion to respond to in the first page. That is the time I go beyond page one. But I rarely do it, though. Have a nice day!

It's because sometimes you may just want to go to other tabs like "my interest" and "today's top" to find other interesting discussions. Have a nice day!

I always go to about page five or until I start only seeing older discussions. I recently went back and set all my friends to notify on and am being overwhelemed with the number of emails but I am trying to get to all that I can.

Sometimes I do because if i am determined to answer a friends discussion i will keep looking until I think I find one I can answer. The only problem with that is that sometimes you will find some you dont really want to answer or dont think you can answer. I like to look around for discussions that are fun to answer and I feelI can add something to the conversation.

i also do the same thing usually. i browse each type of discussions from my friends' started, new discussions, my interest, from the first page and goes on the next next pages until i found something that interest me to give response. but i seldom do browsing for i want to give response first above everyone's discussion to my friends', from my email notifications. I'm afraid I don't usually go past page one because I get caught up answering something and then forget to have another look! I'm sure I miss out on lots of interesting things - it's so hard to answer everything!

Yes I do check the next few pages. I also always start with the "friends started" discussions" that is after I have gone though the ones from my emails. Then I will pick one of my interests and go into them for a few pages and if I still don't see anything I will go on to the next interest. I will usually only go to about page 3 in an interest. If I can't find something by then I will look to the next.
