how do we love? is loving means that you will love someone if that someone will love you too? can't it be loving a person though he or she does not love you and hoping for nothing in return? one example of this was when a man courts a woman he would always say that he loves her. but when the woman turned down the poor guy then the story of ends and this man stops saying to the woman he loves her and the worst is he would even curse the woman for turning him down.

yes it's true. it's a great feeling that there's someone you love that loves you too. but in my opinion loving a person without expecting anything, it will just be a bonus if that person you love will love you too. then it would not be a selfish love for you did not ask for love but instead it was given to you.
