Do you believe some of the filipinos who joined the Beijeing olympics will get some Gold, i hope they will.

I hope they will! That would make me more proud for our country! I am not sure who went to be honest I only saw Manny Pacquiao during opening ceremonies (I think I spell his last name wrong)but if he compete we have the chance to won a gold medal.

manny pacquiao will not compete in the olympics because he is a pro, olympic boxing is for amateurs, he is only there because he is the flag bearer that represents our country. thanks for the response

tell you frankly no. i am not expecting that they will bring home gold. our olympians are not well supported by the government not like other countries. they are training their players from high school. that is hw they pick their players. i have a niece who is a ice scatter and she is in malaysia right now for a scatting competition. but if you ask her who are their major representatives she will answer they choose their major representatives are the daugthers and sons or grandchildren of politician, or rich people. that is how we pick our atheletes. that is the reality of that.
