what do you remember from the 80´s?

For me is the best era, music, people, clothing, I love all I hope it comes back so we can have funnnnnnnnnnnn!

To me, 80's is my decade of childhood. I was born in 1977. So by 80's I am 3 years old and more. It's golden period of having fun with toys and games. I am working now, and when I recalled about my childhood, it's always full of pleasure and fun. Although after growing up, we become independent, but meanwhile we need to struggle with the life and have to worry about many things. I still remember the favourite snacks that we kids like are Ding-Dong, Tora-Tora, Twisties and bubble gum. The favourite cartoons are Thunder Cats, Transformers, Pop-eye The Sailor Man & Doraemon. How we miss those good old days!

Hi. swennerholm. I remember the fluffy hairstyles. I also remember the wide and loopy earrings too. I remember the tights with ruffled skirts. I also remember women wearing the pink and brown blush on their cheeks. I also remember women wearing the glossy pink and red lipstick too. I remember the high pointed boots that were worn with short ruffled skirts. I was only a child during this time, but I took great heed into the clothing that was worn by the men and the women in the 1980s. I also remember men wearing jeans with blazers with their sleeves rolled up. I also have seen men wear sneakers, tennis shoes with their tuxedos too. I remember women wearing the big bows that were made of lace in their hair on the side. I also remember women wearing fish net stockings and lacy gloves.

I work in retail and what I see is more like the 70's, especially in the ladies department.

The 80s was all about music i think lol and the big hair bands i remember most and the clothing lol i do not think i could go back to it myself but to each their own

What I remember about the 80's was the music, like Irene Cara's Fame, Rock with You (MJ), Lady, Funkytown and Do That to Me One More Time. (can't remember the singers, though) I'm not sure about the fashion - don't seem to recall what we wore those years!

well honestly not much i am a 80's baby i was born 1983 so the decade was very vague all i am thinking way back is play all day dont really matter what year that was lols... but i have a fave movie on 80's entitled "bagets" i had an eye on the movie durign the 90's a replay and i was informed that it was really a 80's movie and it was good and the fashion was cool i think..big earings, high hair a lot more....

What I remember of the 80's fashion were "pedal pushers" - they became "in style" here in Metro Manila around that time. I vividly recall an officemates's pre-teen child walking down wearing those pedal pushers and thinking well, they look good on kids like her age and on teen-agers. Happy holidays, swennerholm!
