Well, in true to form fashion, it seems team france had been running their mouths to the u.s. swim team and talking trash. "the americans? we're going to SMASH them!". Not that it's a truly bad thing I guess, it's sports and I guess it's what ya do, but it's the olympics for cripe sakes. I thought the emphasis was on sportsmanship. *shrug*. Anyway, they learned a lesson in fate. It seems we took the gold against them by a slight margin, leaving them in the silver dust. They were awful quiet after that though, lol.
