What's your fastest bath/shower time?

Bathing is a leisurely activity. I mean you have to consider what needs to be done: wash/shampoo your hair, scrub your body, soap it and whatever other rituals you may have. Then there the shower singers who make it a point to have a mini-concert while bathing. Not only is bathing meant to keep us clean, it's also very nice to feel cool and fresh, especially when the weather is hot.
But there are days when we do not have the luxury of time to take a leisurely bath. Sometimes we really should be up and running because we woke up late or need to hitch a ride that will be leaving soon. I remember several times when I've had to bathe for 3 minutes flat, complete with shampoo and body scrubbing. In 7 minutes I was dressed and out the door. What's your record for the fastest bath?

Nyahahaha.. fastest? I don’t know.. I can spend an hour or more in the bathroom.. well, the fastest maybe was when I was almost late for work and I don’t have enough time to waste in the bathroom! LOL.. I could finish in ten minutes If I’m in a real hurry, that’s already fast for me.. I still have to shampoo my long hair and soap my body twice. I don’t know, I just don’t feel so clean when I don’t wash my body with soap two times.. that’s always two times or more for me..hehe but I got time to waste, I usually finish in thirty minutes to an hour!

Hi alena,
I don't really stay longer in the shower..Even if I have no appointment..LOL! I guess the average time that I am in the shower is only 15 minutes!
I always wake up early so after stretching, I will take a shower right away so, I have not tried running out of time due to some schedule!

Probably 5 minutes, but that would not include dressing time. That would include undressing washing and shampooing. I think I would need at least 5 mintues to get dressed and comb my hair. There have definately been moments where I am running late and yet felt like I could not deal if I didn't have a shower before I left the house..

Unless I am really in a bind, or if I'm just heading for the market where I will sweat and pick up unsightly odor, I do want a bath or shower before stepping out. It just doesn't feel right to leave the house not feeling fresh and clean, which is what the bath is all about.

I don't have no record time to take a shower or to get ready, but I try to to do it all at least within an hour...lol. Whenever I have to go somewhere and I need to take a shower I give myself an hour to do it. You must be pretty speedy, theres no way I could get done in 7 mins, my hair alone takes about 10 mins to fix, I've got so much of it and it doesn't dry very fast. have a good day

Who hoooo...seven minutes?I wanted to try that one.I have long hair, shampooing and rinsing would take quite long time.To add i have to blow dry a bit(unless i want to go out with dripping hair). So from shower to applying lotion to dressing up the shortest time i'd be ready to go out of the house is somewhere between ten to fifteen minutes.Lesser than that i'd be looking like hell and irritatedBut i'd really like to try that "7-minutes bath/dress up" for emergency situations...let's see

When you really put your mind to it and nothing is there to sidetrack you, anything is possible, including getting ready in 7 minutes. My advice: shampoo your hair ahead so that you'll just have to shower and soap and that'll be more manageable in that time frame.

Well I was in the military so when we were going through basic we really didn't have much time. It felt like maybe 2 minutes for everything. You usually scrub and wash very fast. I mean if you don't you be in some type of trouble. I want to say it was 3 to 5 minutes, but it never felt that long. People seem like it was only seconds they were in and out and dressed. It was good cause now when I really do need to get somewhere and I'm running late I can take me some really fast showers.

I never take baths and I tend to not spend long in the shower. The quickest shower I have had is probably 1 or 2 minutes. It is the rest of the getting ready process that takes the time, the hair dying, the hair straightening, the putting clothes on, the doing my make-up and all of that rather than the showering.

Well good for you. Running late will never be a problem, right? Thanks for dropping by.
