Do you enjoy photography?

In this age of very cheap digital cameras, photography is a lot more accessible for everybody. Do you enjoy taking photographs?I love a spot of photography and adjusting them in Photoshop. I like to capture moments and find it very therapeutic. I have attached a photograph of one I took in my garden that my friend really likes. What do you think? Do you put photographs on Flickr or Facebook?

Being a grandmother and a mother I love taking photos. I always have my camera on me at all times you never know when someone will do something funny that you want to show off to everyone. Like the time my son-in-law drank blue easter egg dye by mistake. It was so funny and i have the picture of him with a blue tongue. His my grandson was only 1 year old at the time but now he knows what that picture is about and he laughs at it also.

I absoultly LOVE taking pictuers! People always get irritated cause I'm constantly snapping pic or saying "Just one more picture!" lol. I use all my photos to make scrabooks and things to nicely preserve my memories. :-)

fly in iris - This was taken in our backyard, no cropping and no editing had to been done.
I began my love for photography years ago. I went through three years of studying it, learning to develop my own film and pictures in a dark room. I now use a Nikon D40, my s/o gave me this past Christmas. There are very few days that I won't be found taking pictures. I love taking photos of the outdoors, nature in our backyard.

My mom is a professional photographer, so I've always been exposed to photography. However, growing up I was never really into photography. I got my first camera when I was 6 and I liked taking snapshots of my friends and stuff. But I never had any interest in exploring the art of photography. That all changed when I got my first digital camera. I was 17 and in college and I took that digital camera on vacation with me. Suddenly I realized that photography might actually be something I was good at! Ever since then, I was hooked! With digital, I loved that I could see the photo right after I took it! When I saw that I'd taken a good photo, I got excited and took more! I just didn't have the same experience with film. I do NOT post my photos on Facebook at all!!!! Facebook has a rights grab policy where any photo that you post on Facebook, Facebook owns it!!! Most users on Facebook aren't even aware of this. I think it's a horrible policy, and I would highly recommend removing any photo you've posted on Facebook! I do have a Flickr gallery, but I'm not very active on Flickr. I have a lot of problems with the site. There's a lot of art theft on Flickr, and the Flickr admins don't really do anything about it. There are photos of mine up on Flickr that other users have stolen and posted. I reported them to Flickr, and months later my photos are still there! Plus, you are very limited on what you can do on Flickr with a free account. You can only submit 200 photos total. And there's a limit on how many groups you can submit your photo to. I mostly post my photos on deviantART. With a free account on deviantART, there is an unlimited number of photos you can have in your gallery! Plus, there's no limit on how many clubs you can submit your photos to. Also, they are VERY strict when it comes to art theft. If you report art theft, they look into it and remove the stolen photo that day. And anyone who submits a lot of stolen photos or artwork gets a temporary ban. Then if they continue to post stolen art once their ban is lifted, they get a permanent ban.

I am aware of the Facebook policy and disagree with it too. However I highly doubt they would want to use any of the photos I have on there. It is nice to tag friends and to have some photos filling people in on what you do. I have Flickerpro and it is great as you can be selective on who sees what.I stopped using Deviantart, I can't even remember why, I think I just slowly stopped going on there. I don't know why as it is a really good site!

I love photography. This is for sure. However, I dont have nice camera. I plan to take up photography class soon once I get the camera that I need. Currently, I only use my camera phone. It is not that good, but I think it is okay for daily use. I have a multiply account where I place all my pictures. Good day!

I'm sure you'll love it when you get a new camera, I remember when I first got mine how much fun it was. The quality of camera phones is pretty high these days too!
