moonlitmagikchild,
that's also the reason we haven't see here.
last night when i was to tired but i insisted on responding a discussion,( i did read the description but missed some point) i just responded it and unfortunately my response implied that i don't read the discussion
so he complained at it and i have to apologize and respond more properly
thx for responding

i have done that a lot.. but unfortunately i have insomnia so if i were to wait till i was fully rested to answer anyone i would never sign on lol.. i read things and i miss the point a lot.. i end up like replying to what i already said and end up correcting myself.. im sure people get frustrated but at least they got a response.. i could just not answer anyone ever

I am like most other people in that I have to be interested in the topic and especially the title to go further into it and respond. There are so many existing and new topics on here daily and it is a challenge trying to sift through all of them to find something that interests me personally. So titles with little or no "hook" so to speak will be pretty much ignored by me.

i decide not top respond because sometimes the topic is too difficult to answer in simple words that you need to dig deeper into the question to answer it and sometimes..i just get bored of that subject and just decide to find another one.. lol

hello there,
if i have to respond to each and every discussion there is out here it will takes me years to finish LOL
i take for consideration the knowledge i have for the particular discussion, if it doesnt meet my knowledge then i wont post a comment. sometimes it is something that interest me but i dont find something to say so i just ignore it despite the fact that i read the post and some comments as well.
i often find a subject that dont really pertains to the discussion itself so i try to read the whole discussion first then decide if i can participate or not.
if the subject bores me then you can expect that i wont respond to it.
sometimes i am bombarded with so many friend's discussion and most not only start one topic but 3-5 topic and i have a lot of friends who starts as well so i just pick a few that i can respond coz i dont have much time out here.
i disregard something that i feel is just a repeat and or something that will need so much elaboration on my part if i my time is not enough and just focus to those that i can respond easy.
anyway, you seem to always get my response (at least to one of your discussion) so that is a good sign LOL
takecare

hahah...you are right. we will have a full time job for our whole life
yes sometimes (i mean many times) i found discussions that i have a very limited knowledge about. even if i think i have something to say, i got difficulty to express it in the proper sentences
thx for regularly participating in my humble discussions. i really appreciate it. you seem to have a magic fingers (to type). you can make a simple topic become an interesting discussion by simply responding it. happy posting

Well if the topic is of the type on which I have no knowledge such as sports, or technical computer matters or some people discuss about the tv serials which I do not see. Then I am not in a position to reply so I skip such discussions.Sometimes people discuss their problems which I have not gone through so not in a position to contribute positively,so I do not reply.

hi sunita,
yes i also leave the discussions i have no knowledge about to other responders, as it's silly to be there without contributing anything. thx for responding

I dont respond to discussion I cant relate myself. I dont make a response if the topic is out of my interest and i have nothing to answer or contribute with.
I dont want to just respond because i want to earn points and will have just to say Great or simple liner that will not make any sense about the topic or worse respond out of the topic.

Okay, now, i look at a discussion, and think, okay now, im gonna answer this, but reading it over and over, i think may be i dont have the right answer, or that i dont wanna answer this, so i go back , and i dont answer.

hello keep_onwatch,
that also happens to me several times. i just open a subject, feeling confidence to respond it, but somehow my will to respond disappears after reading the discussion. it ends by leaving the discussion. thx for responding

I will usually respond to a discussion if I really have something to say about the topic. If the topic interests me or I am knowledgable about a subject then I will respond. If it is something that is a question that goes no where or I have no idea what they are talking about or no real opinion I will usually just pass the discussion by. Sometimes I see people responding to discussions with things that make no sense or things that really shouldnt be posted on that particular discussion because they are really sort of off subject so to speak. I try not to do that so I do not post unless I have some clue as of what the topic is about.

I have a few reasons that I do not respond to some discussions.
1. They don't put much thought into it and you can tell they just want money.
2. It's not a topic that I feel I can put much insight into.
3. And the biggest reason of all: They post more about 5 discussions minutes apart all on the new page, making all the other discussions get pushed down, and usually their discussions pertain to reason #1. I hate that kind of stuff, and it makes me never want to post on another one of their discussions again... I don't know, it's just a huge pet peeve to me.
How about you? Tell me your reasons.

i understand what you feel. i agree with all your reason, especially number 3. i have ever found a discussion showing how he feel proud to post 37 discussions which takes less than one hour and the discussions meet your reason number 1 and 3.
me? well, beside the three, i rarely respond a discussion which have extremely lengthy description, as i don't get time to read it but i don't want to respond without exactly knowing what they are talking about. thx for responding

If the topic is really interesting or if I know very much about the topic then I go to respond to that particular discussion. Otherwise sometimes it will be boring to discuss on the same topics.

The very first reason is that the subject might not really interest you or even if it does, you don't really know much about the subject. Another reason is that someone (like minded person) has already replied with the same exact thought that you have and hence you don't really bother typical a "yes i agree".

i sometimes use the 'yes i agree' or 'i am similar with you', but i add some additional thought for their opinion. thx for responding
