i have never figured out in the movie, why jenny left GUMP again and again, though she wants to persue her own dream , to get away from her childhood shadow, but when they are together, why she leaves him again? and before that, why she chose the aggressive boyfriend instead of forret, who beats her a lot. she knows how truly forrest loves her. then why?
