What do you consider the most precious in your life?

Is it family, maybe a person, or a material object? It could even by a pet. Maybe for some it's success or money? Mine is family. My hubby's family has taken me in like one of their own. Through them I see how a family is truely supposed to be. There for each other, loving uncoditionally. They have their crazy moments but when it comes down to it..they love with all their beings. In my opinion that's the most beautiful thing.

Family too. Recently, my granny fell down and now, she has to rely on walking stick to move around. My heart aches when I see her lying in the hospital. I make a promise to myself that I have to spend as much time as I can with her and my other family members.

Yea. I will. Do spend time with your granny too. Even though she can't remember you, she will appreciate your presence.

Sounds alot like my grandma. It's hard seeing someone you've loved for so long being pretty much trapped in a bed. My granny has got amnesia. She can recall things from her being a little girl with every detail possible but she has the hardest time remember our names. It's just sad. Spend as much time with yours as possible. She'll appreciate that more than you know.

I try to as often as I can. It's funny...she'll ask you the same darn question over and over and then someone will pipe in.."You've already asked her that three times now."..and instead of getting flustered...she'll give me a little wink! At times I think Grannies can have the best sense of humors.

I tell Metalhalo that as you get older and older life tends to kick you! I have lost I think my most precious baby in my life and is worse than loosing a family member, I had to put my baby poodle to sleep due to a stroke that he had. So I do not like bad news but he was the most precious thing I had in life!

Ohh I'm so sorry! That's terrible. Loosing a loving pet can be just as bad as loosing a loved one. Afterall many dogs are considered part of family. I'm sorry you had to lose yours.

You couldn't be more right. There isn't anything in this world that compares to a loving family. It makes me happy when others understand that too.

Yes, sometimes family can have it's ups and downs. But it's comforting to know that at the end of the day they're still there regardless of the batty times.

A love lost can be one of the most painful things one has to endure. Does she know you feel this way?

That's great! I don't think there's anything better in this life than sharing love with family and friends. So many others out there are without those special people in their life or they take them for granted. Hold onto yours dearly! Thank You for replying.

I would have to say the lvoe of my family, boyfriend and even my little pup. Nothing could compare to the love and support I know i always have with my family. Also my boyfriend who loves me unconditionally. And the feeling of walkign through the door after a long days work and him saying "Hi honey, how was your day" and my pup running up all excited like he hadn't seen me in YEARS when I just saw him that morning. Knowing i have the love of all these people is what keeps me going in lfie and that is what is most precious!

I agree, I think that's a lovely prime concern. It's mine as well...as it should be for everyone I would think. I think the world would be a much better place if everyone has that same feeling.

I would find the most precious thing in my life is the love of my family. I have my husband and my son and they come before the materialistic things in life. To enjoy unconditional love from a child doesn't compare to much else. Money is important to life but you need to have acceptance from people also. I feel that showing my son my love and attention is a precious gift that I can give to him.

I loved your answer. Probably because it hit the closest to home. You're very lucky to have such a loving family. A lot of people are without that. I don't think there's anything that beats the unconditional love from a child.

The most precious is myself, my own identity. I feel that I am portraying myself and not other people. Is really precious to be myself and create an own 'brand value'. I feel one shouldn't be someone else and losing own identity. Everyone in this world is different and we must appreciate our own uniqueness. Thus, if i stick to my own principle, my likings, my origin and own identity, is the most precious in my life

Your answer made me smile simply because it's so, so true. You can't truely be happy with anything until you're happy with yourself. ALOT of people don't get that concept. Thank you for showing me that there's still some out there that have the mind set that you do.

For me love is the most precious thing in this world. To get a true love is really something precious and costly. All cannot find the true love in their life. If they find also they will not achieve the true love. But I could get my true love in mylife and I am happy for it.

...Well at least he holds first place right now. I think losing your place is usually inevitable when a child comes into the picture. Or at least they're on the same level but in different ways. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful day!

My most precious thing that I have in my life is my relationship with God. He is always there for me, never lets me down, is a loving being, and keeps me safe. He also provides things for me that I find very very precious like my boyfriend, and my best friends, and my family. I don't really need anything else. I like my car I guess, but only because I need to get around to places so much, and I DO love driving. I also love animals, so i find that nature and animals are also very precious.
