What's your healthy food of choice?

There are so many types of food or drinks that are being held up as the 'best for your health'. So many trends come and go that many people tend to switch depending on the trend.
I believe that improving your health through good food choice makes sense. But the foods need to be used for the long term, and consitently. Diet can improve health, but it isn't a quick fix.
Eating a balanced dieat is important of course, but is there something that you tend to include in your diet at a regular basis? Two that I use often are pickled herring and green tea (not necessarily in the same meal).

i think vegetarian food is really important to keep us healthy. i am trying it and i feel so much better. but being vegetarian without choosing your diet properly are also not recommended. you have to choose the good combination of your food.
